WTGS -- PBGS 15th ANNUAL INVITATIONAL SKEET SHOOT
Friday & Saturday, August 22-23th, 2008

It’s the Fiftteenth Anniversary of the WTGS-PBGS Skeet Shoot sponsored by the Permian Basin Geophysical Society and the West Texas Geological Society. Grab your shotguns and let’s go out and break a few "skeets". Let the chips fall where they may. We expect another good crowd this year so sign up early. Sponsors will have priority of shoot times.

What it is:

Two Rounds (50 shots) of skeet plus Fabulous Trophies and Door Prizes, Food and Beverages.

When it will be

Friday 22th 1:00 PM until dusk & Saturday, August 23th. First squads begin at 8:00 AM.

Where it will occur

Permian Basin Shotgun Range, 1.5 miles south of Warfield Truck Stop on FM 1788.

Who’s invited:

Members of WTGS and PBGS, Shoot Sponsors, and Guests. Entry priority will be to members of PBGS and WTGS and Sponsors of the shoot who wish to participate.

Entry Fee

Members of WTGS or PBGS/ and Sponsors: $60.00 each. Entry Fee covers 50 rounds of ammunition (12 ga. or 20 ga.) and all targets, food, beverages, and door prizes. Spouses and non-shooting members or guests may pay a $10.00 fee covering food and drinks at the registration table the day of the shoot.

Shoot Rules:

Each Participant will shoot two rounds of skeet (25 shots per round). Shooting will take place in five man squads. Shooters will be put into trophy classes based on a blind draw of either the first or second round shot by each shooter. That round is then doubled to determine the shooter's classification.

Class AA (47-50) Class A (43-46) Class B (37-42)
Class C (29-37) Class D (21-28) Class E (0-20)

Trophies:

Trophies will be awarded to class winners and runners-up. Winners will be determined based on the shooter's actual two round total. All ties will be broken by scorecard shootoff except for the AA Class which will be broken with an actual shootoff.

Door Prizes:

All door prizes will be awarded by random drawing. You must be present to win!

Pre Registration:

Registration must be received by Monday, August 19th, 2008. You may register individually (you will be assigned to a 5 member squad), or you may form a five member team and send in one registration form for the team with full payment. You will be notified of start times. Please arrive 30 - 45 minutes before your start time .
