Midland Chapter SIPES April Luncheon: Kathleen Hartnett White

The Midland Chapter of the Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists (SIPES) will meet April 16th in the upstairs ballroom at Midland Country Club. 
 
April's program will be presented by Kathleen Hartnett White.  Her subject will be regulatory issues as they relate to the Oil and Gas business.
 
SIPES always welcomes guests, and no reservations are required.  Guest luncheon and program cost is $20 to be paid to the treasurer at the meeting.  There is no charge for members.  Reception begins at 11:15, Buffet lunch starts at 11:30 and the program begins at noon.

Kathleen White is Distinguished Senior Fellow-in-Residence & Director, ArmstrongCenter for Energy & the Environment at the Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF) in Austin.  Prior to joining TPPF, Ms. White served six years as Chairman and Commissioner of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), the second largest environmental regulatory agency in the world after the EPA.  White also is Vice Chairman of the Texas Water Foundation, and is serving her fifth gubernatorial appointment as an officer and director of the Lower Colorado River Authority.  White and her husband are partners in a 125 year old ranching operation in Jeff Smith and PresidioCounties.
