How Professional Society Involvement Results in Employment Opportunities

 Abstract:

Based on demand from recent survey results in the Permian, this presentation will cover how involvement in professional societies assist in job transitions and what resources are out there in SPE (and other societies) for experienced and young professionals. Pradhan will cover her career path and what committees, study groups, and leadership opportunities she undertook to help her land additional networking, leadership, and job opportunities in the oil and gas industry. Through this experience sharing, Pradhan will provide advice on how others can get involved as working professionals, members-in-transition, recent graduates, and current students.
