The West Texas Geology Foundation (WTGF) is a 501 (c) (3) organization that conducts educational, charitable, and scientific activities related to or allied with the field of geology in the West Texas region and adjacent areas.  Membership in WTGF is obtained by (1) maintaining membership in the West Texas Geological Society and (2) making an annual donation to the Foundation.  Donations are fully tax deductible.

WTGF provides numerous scholarships to undergraduate and graduate geoscience majors, recognizes outstanding educators and provides financial awards to same, supports science fairs, teacher training, and geoscience programs at all age levels, sponsors public speakers, and supports numerous other worthwhile endeavors.

Membership Classes

  • $10 – Student Member
  • $50 – Member
  • $100 – Sustaining Member
  • $250 – Silver Member
  • $500 – Gold Member
  • $1000 – Platinum Member
  • $5000 – Benefactor

Contributions, in the form of a check, should be made out to West Texas Geology Foundation and mailed to P.O. Box 1595, Midland, Texas 79702.  For Corporate Contributions, or contributions other than cash (check), contact the West Texas Geological Society at (432) 683-1573.  WTGS personnel will put you in touch with an appropriate WTGF representative.
