6th Annual Geoscience Symposium

The Department of Geosciences at the University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) is excited to announce the 6^th Annual Geoscience Symposium on May 4, 2023, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the Engineering Building on the UTPB Midland campus. The event includes research presentations by students, faculty and invited speakers. This year we will also have high school students in the Permian Basin to present their geoscience projects. The symposium can host approximately 100 industry professionals and students. We hope to share the continued enthusiasm for Geosciences at UTPB, showcase the potential for collaboration with local professionals, and develop networking opportunities for our students in the Basin.

In our efforts to continue and build on this success, we are currently soliciting sponsorships for the 6^th Annual Geoscience Symposium. These sponsorship opportunities are available for you to publicize your support for geoscience education with potential future clients and employees. Sponsorship funds will go toward covering the costs of hosting the event and providing scholarships to participating students.

We have multiple tiers of sponsorship available: Diamond ($2,000), (Gold) $1,500 (Gold), Silver ($600), and Bronze ($400).

Every sponsorship level receives the option to have a booth at the symposium. Diamond and Gold sponsors may also request program time to speak to the audience.  This is a great opportunity for you to advertise your company with potential new employees as well as to educate other industry professionals about your company’s services.
