SIPES March Program Announcement

ABSTRACT :
Private equity has been a source of capital for over 100 years; however, the first institutional energy private equity fund wasn’t formed until the late 1980’s. The presentation will look at what has worked for private equity and what hasn’t worked.
We’ll discuss the types of investors that continue to invest in upstream oil and gas and discuss reasons that some investors no longer participate in oil and gas investments.
The presentation will review the past five ( 5 ) of private equity , with an emphasis on investment in the Permian Basin.

Guest luncheon and program cost is $35 to be paid to the treasurer at the meeting – cash or check only – no credit cards please!! There is no charge for members. Reception begins at 11:15, lunch starts at 11:30 and the program begins at noon.
